The plans were hatched, the tickets were purchased, the flights departed, and the Midwest grinned. Mild winter winds boasted amidst intermittent sunshine, but only accompanied by light snow dustings a couple times. Several sets of family were greeted, break was broken with cheery hearts, gifts exchanged, stories retold and new memories made. Even the Mall of America (and henceforth, Legoland) was visited.
There’s nothing quite like being home for Christmas.
