A few weeks ago, I attended a charity feature event here in Medford, Oregon. Local organizations Hearts With A Mission and Rogue Valley Youth For Christ teamed up for a concert and dessert to raise awareness and raise funds for their work. Lending his talents for the event, Paul Wright came down from his hometown of Portland to share lyrics and bars with an acoustic guitar.
Hearts With A Mission provides a shelter for homeless or abused kids, in which to build encouraging relationships and give them a place to sleep if their home isn’t a safe option. Rogue Valley Youth For Christ partners with youth and churches to help students become faithful followers of Jesus with healthy relationships and life direction.
