In my various circles of friends, there are a number of artists and creatives. Some of them are hard to spot because they may not advertise their work or talk about their craft very often. But there are also some who love the arts so much that they can’t help but share with people around them.
My friend Aaron Dykstra is a free-hand illustrator and artist. Whenever I see him, he’s carrying a few pens and his sketchpad. The guy doesn’t take a day off, and I like it. His passion for art is tangible.
Aaron recently put his skills to work by volunteering time on a creative project for my church. He illustrated some of the main themes of a series called “Red Letters” across the wall of the students’ room. Check out some photos of the process of Aaron’s live wall art.
